Fastest way, in the app: open Offline Finder, tap your avatar (top right), then tap Delete account under Account & security. This permanently erases your account and the data listed below. It cannot be undone.
Don't have the app installed?
Email privacy@offlinefinder.co.uk and tell us the phone number or email address on your account. We will verify it is you (by replying from that address, or by texting a one-time code to that number), then delete the account and confirm by reply. Requests are completed within 30 days.
What gets deleted
Your profile (name, avatar, the phone or email you signed up with)
Your live location (we do not store a history of your movements)
Your messages
Saved places you created stay with the circle, but are unlinked from you and your name is removed from them
Your encryption recovery backup
Any circles you own, which are deleted for everyone in them
How long it takes
In-app deletion is immediate. Email requests are completed within 30 days. Routine backups and server logs that may contain residual data are purged on a rolling 30-day cycle.
